We are recruiting for a national company who have secured a contract to provide Highways Supervisory staff across the South West. They offer a determined and flexible career structure, regular performance reviews and guaranteed work. You will need experience of Roads / Highways / Civils work.
The specifics of this role are;
• Monitor the in-year programme for individual construction schemes and ensure roadspace is available and respected • Ensure appropriate risk assessments and method statements are in place and complied with for site activities on construction schemes • Coordination and liaison with key stakeholders in conjunction with the Communications team • Monitoring of performance on site with regard to health and safety, quality and the environment • Management of interfaces between third parties on construction schemes eg Statutory Authorities, InterRoute resources • Compliance with the IQMS system • Manage the efficient close out of technical queries generated from construction schemes • Organising and chairing weekly site based coordination meetings for each individual construction scheme. • Ensure appropriate construction records are maintained for each individual construction scheme • Provide support and assistance to the Project Manager prior to, during and after the construction phase to ensure scheme delivery to agreed programme • Ensure appropriate Construction Inspection and Test Plan and quality control records are produced and maintained for individual construction schemes
