This Local Authority client of ours is offering an exciting oportunity to join their busy and expanding highways design team due to a number of new projects being recently taken on.
They are looking for someone with good highway design knowledge and proven experience with the capabilty of using packages such as AutoCAD and MS Office. MX experience would also be an advantage although not essential.
Work in the council team currently includes all elements of traffic engineering from junction re-alignments and traffic calming schemes to include "safer routes for schools" work and pedestrianisation projects throughout the county.
This is a great opportunity for suitable candidates to contribute to the ongoing success of a dynamic team, whilst gaining experience on a range of exciting projects. This is an ongoing open ended contract which has the potential to become a permanent post should the suitable candidate show the required level of commitment required for this post. The Candidate should be motivated and possess exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills and is also happy to assist the more junior members of the team when required.
