An Engineering Consultancy within the South West of England seeks a Highways Engineer to join their busy, thriving highways design team to support and assist the work of other staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the computer aided design of highway schemes, the delivery of schemes within time constraints, liaison with other designers to co-ordinate different elements of the scheme and take ownership of designs and resolve design problems in conjunction with the team leader.
You are required to have a HNC / HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering, has proven experience and understanding of engineering design principals with an ability to use AutoCAD. Technical capabilities in pavements, drainage/infrastructure, contract documentation and construction principals and MX/Moss.
