An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Engineer in this locally based consultancy. This consultancy have experience in Civil and Structural design work and have a broad client base which include retail, commerce, associations, leisure and housing developers.
As a Highways Engineer, your role will consist of;
Undertaking project design and providing support to Technician Staff.
The preparation of calculations as required by the project.
Preparing drawings.
Liaising with other departments.
Liaising with other professionals, authorities and clients.
To be successful as a Highways Engineer, you will have;
A relevant degree, HND or equivalent.
Conversant with current construction standards and design documentation.
Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in 3D Highway design software.
Experience in WinDes drainage software would be an advantage.
