Devon/South West - An immediate contract vacancy has arisen for an experienced Highways Engineer on an open-ended basis.
Working within the public sector the role will involve preparing designs, reports, specifications and other deliverables for highways schemes; preparing, updating and monitoring the Quality Assurance procedures and monitoring the designs produced to ensure they meet the design briefs set by the Delivery Team. You also need to supervise junior staff and technicians and may be required to attend meetings.
To be successful in your application you will need an HNC in Civil Engineering and have experience of working from the front of a highways team; demonstrating initiative and ownership of your work.
