The specifics of this role are;
Principal Responsibilities / Key Duties:
• To provide strategic direction and guidance to the Operations Manager to ensure that the day to day operations in area of responsibility are undertaken in accordance with the strategies and policies to deliver the objectives • To work with the Area Strategy Manager to identify and manage/mitigate strategic risk to the business for area of responsibility • To provide guidance and support to the Operations Manager to resolve HR issues relating to both Support Staff and Production Staff • To provide guidance and leadership to the Operations Managers in ensuring that Health, Safety, Environment and Quality is suitably managed in the team • Act as AMSER for the area to represent the area team as the senior manager. • In Liaison with the MSER, act as senior representative for Area in leading the Bi-monthly H&S meetings with the production staff • In liaison with Area Manager in opposing Area and QS, lead the team in cost reporting in monthly meetings and compile monthly variances reporting for the MNV Manager and Commercial Manager • Monitor and report on costs codes for area of responsibility to manage spend versus profile and re-forecasting as necessary in liaison with the QS team at the monthly cost meetings • Providing expertise and knowledge in developing and amending policies and strategies for the successful operation of the contract • Undertaking other duties as required by the MNV Manager
