My Client has a vacancy for a Graduate Traffic Engineer to deliver cost effective and technically sound solutions for safety audits, improvement scheme design and scheme identification studies.
Assisting the traffic team in improving the network safety for road users.
Assisting with the identification and applying appropriate methodologies and standards to produce effective and innovative solutions.
Assisting with the preparation of tender and contract documents.
Generating reports on Road Safety, Economy, traffic survey and congestion data.
Assist with project administration and control including monitoring of costs and programme.
Assist with the preparation of design calculations and drawings.
Liaise with other staff to co-ordinate safety audits, improvement schemes and scheme identification studies.
Assist the client in dealing with development control matters.
Qualified to HNC/HND standard in an engineering discipline or equivalent, experience of working in a civil engineering environment.
Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS office programmes especially excel and access databases.
Ideally a person who is a team worker with good organisational skills with the ability to work without supervision. Effective and efficient communicator together with good interpersonal skills.
