Our client specialises in providing solutions for handling and processing powders, granules, tablets and other materials in Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC). They have the capability to provide total IBC solutions, from single component level through to complete turnkey powder handling solutions; from concept development, testing and design through to manufacture, installation and training.
Our client are a truly international company with own offices in USA, UK, Germany, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Netherlands and France. In addition they have a worldwide network of agents. This enables them to provide close customer support and service wherever their customers are in the world.
Due to continued year on year growth they have a requirement for a Sales Support Engineer to join their team based in Gloucestershire. The idea candidate will be a recent graduate in an engineering type discipline who has the desire to go into a role where communication and drive are paramount to the success of the role.
Main Duties
Answering Telephone enquiries for all business categories as required
Preparation of proposals, including:
• Review of enquiry
• Ensuring enquiry is logged
• Defining proposal content
• Ensuring suitable supporting material is included
• Obtaining relevant approvals for technical and commercial content
Support of Project Sales, including:
• Visits to customer premises as and when required
• Co-ordinate and demonstrations / trials at company or customers sites as wand when required
Order, review and handover to engineering, including:
• Support as required at project handover to engineering
• Advise engineering, as required, during project life cycle
A salary between £16000 and £22000 is available for the right applicant, with a company pension scheme and 25 days holidays a year plus private health care. Suitable applicants should apply via appropriate link.
