Graduate Trainee Structural Engineer, Poole, Dorset £23,000 + benefits
My is looking to recruit engineering graduates to its Head Office in Poole, Dorset on the South Coast of England. The position is for entry into the Technical department, the main responsibilities being to work on the 3D CAD drawing process for steel framed buildings.
They have a two-year Programme, that includes workshop, estimating, design, on-site and project management experience.
The company is part of a large-scale engineering group with a turnover of £30m. There business is structural steelwork design, fabrication and erection of building structures.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• CAD modelling of individual or part projects.
• Inputting data to the Management Information System.
• Producing and controlling project schedule / registers.
• Report on project progress.
• Liaison with engineers, architect's etc.
• Assist with development existing & new D.O. systems.
• Operate to a Quality system
You should be able to demonstrate good engineering knowledge gained from an Engineering or Science degree.
You must also have full driving licence and live or move to the locality.
