My client started developing onshore wind farms in the United Kingdom in 2003. In-house they possess all the expertise and experience needed to design, develop and build onshore wind farms. Their current focus is the UK, where they consider wind resource to be one of the most promising forms of sustainable energy.
With over 1000 MW of Wind Farm projects in development in the UK my client is looking to recruit an experienced Wind Farm Development Project Manager to join their already successful team in Wimborne, Dorset.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience working as a Wind Farm Project Development Manager for a major utility company or smaller developer. You will either be commutable to Wimborne on a daily basis or willing to travel in order to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. You would be expected to be able to come in to the business and hit the ground running working on a number of projects across the UK and Ireland, and have demonstrable experience of managing a large team of external consultants. Reporting into the Project Director you would also be expected to offer guidance and assistance to junior staff as well as liaising with specialist staff in different areas across the business
The business is a well funded one and have the ability to offer a very competitive package. The successful applicant should expect to receive a basic salary between £40000 and £60000 dependant on experience, a 10% personal and company related performance bonus, a healthy car allowance, 7% non contributory pension and Private Health Cover.
