Following enormous successes over the past year, our client is now looking to recruit at least 1 additional Senior Consultant with expertise in the area of terrestrial ecology and protected species. This role will focus initially on developing a team of ecologists in a supportive atmosphere along with meticulous project management and the ongoing management of staff. You will be involved in a diverse range of ecological projects and will be responsible for the delivery of the highest standard of ecological work with confidence and integrity.
You have experience as a professional ecologist and degree in Ecology along with evidence of continuing professional development.
A proven track record of ecological survey work and quality project delivery along with a relevant specialism is necessary. You must be able to demonstrate staff management experience. You will have excellent report writing skills and be an enthusiastic team leader. This position represents a real opportunity for an able consultant to make an immediate contribution - drive, enthusiasm, ambition and excellent report writing skills are key requirements.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to influence the development of a growing team and become a focal point for initiatives. The flexible nature of the role means it could include additional opportunities to manage commercial development for the team and/or line management for a candidate with appropriate skills.
