This is a fantastic opportunity to join Environmental Consultancy who provides professional advice to a range of clients in the areas of Sustainability, Strategic Environmental Assessment and Appropriate Assessment.

They are keen to hear from mature-minded and ambitious individuals who possess post-graduate experience (public or private sector) in the following areas -:

 Project management of Strategic Environmental Assessment and Sustainability Appraisal of programmes and plans (especially Local Development Frameworks)
 Appropriate Assessment of Land Use Plans
 Environmental Impact Assessments of large scale Masterplanning Projects
 Ecological and Landscape Management

All candidates must possess a relevant degree (MSc minimum) and possess superb interpersonal / communication skills. A sound understanding of policy development and operation is essential. This exciting post will include a blend of client-facing roles, and you should be familiar and confident in dealing with local authorities / regulators / NGOs and the public. You will possess excellent report writing skills.

Above all, you want to make a difference to the way in which policy is shaped in the UK and introduce brilliance and innovation to achieve meaningful sustainability achievements.

As well as providing the independence to work from home and manage your own projects, you will also have the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of the Practice and become a key player within the business. With this in mind, only outstanding individuals who can demonstrate maturity and honesty, as well as possessing the required technical expertise, will be considered for this post.
