Our Client is a multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy involved in major infrastructure, planning and environmental projects throughout the world.
Due to their ever-increasing workload there is an immediate requirement for an experienced acoustics consultant to join the Noise and Vibration Team. The main areas of work would include building acoustics and environmental noise and vibration impact assessment.
You will have previous experience of working in these areas with knowledge of the relevant legislation and standards. Suitable qualifications in acoustics or a related subject with a minimum of five years experience in a consultancy practice or other acoustics profession are required.
We would expect you to be competent in noise and vibration measurement, instrumentation and analytical techniques. A good working knowledge of Cadna and/or SoundPlan would be a distinct advantage and competence with standard office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
