Our government funded organisation has a job for a Chartered Engineer/ Incorporated Engineers to work on 'Flood Risk Management' Projects. The key role will require strong with negotiation skills and strategic thinking. Key Skills: To provide expert technical opinion and specialist engineering advice and guidance to Area Flood Risk Management teams on asset system management issues to ensure the delivery of consistent, practical solutions and value for money. Provide accurate and timely specialist advice to the team(s) on issues involving Asset System Management to deliver the Flood Risk Management Strategy. Provide technical advice to ensure delivery of Asset System Management objectives for the Area to reduce flood risk and prevent loss of life. Analyse and interpret data, prepare reports with recommendations for decision making and report on achievement of service standards. Sponsor or manage projects to contribute to flood risk reduction targets. Contribute to the delivery of Asset System Management process and policy in order to achieve practical solutions for the Area. Using specialist knowledge develop and manage a programme of work in Asset System management that contributes to the delivery of Regional and Area targets.
