Our client are experienced and professional transport consultants. They work with clients early in the planning or development process in order to find innovative and cost effective solutions to their transportation and accessibility problems. They add value to their transport planning services by offering highway, infrastructure and drainage design, environmental assessments, safety audits, traffic modelling and topographical surveys. They are therefore currently looking to recruit a Principal Environmental Consultant to be based out of their Bristol Office.
Your role working for this consultancy will be two fold. You will also be involved in writing environmental statements, liaising with clients and other parties and working alongside the engineers and planners in order to meet the clients' requirements.
There will also be a business development aspect to the business, building up contacts and an environmental team in the South West. You will be the team leader and running your own profit centre, as well as developing contacts in the South West and bringing in new contracts.
