My Clients Water Environment Teams have excellent opportunities for new and experienced Graduates to develop their career. They are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering (or similar) graduate to work on water, land use planning and environmental projects. Principal projects will include flood risk, flood impact and engineering studies undertaken under framework arrangements with public sector bodies. Additionally support to projects for private sector clients with interests in planning and development control and other water engineering projects. Occasional site visits and attendance at project meetings. The role will also require travel within the UK and possibly abroad.
Successful candidates will have an understanding of hydraulic theory, hydrology and computational modelling for use in flood risk analysis. Practical application and project experience in the UK highly desirable. Experience working under framework arrangements, awareness of the land use planning process, and preferably PPG25 and TAN15 would be beneficial. Candidates should be enthusiastic, reliable, able to work alone and as part of a team, and must have good organisational and communication skills with a flexible approach to work. You will hold a Civil Engineering Degree or similar or scientific discipline with an hydraulic engineering bias. |
