We on behalf of our client are looking to recruit an Environmental Scientist to be based in Bristol whose main responsibilities would include the designing, managing and carrying out of site investigations, report scoping and preparation, and input to remediation options appraisals. This role will be the resident engineer on remediation sites.
Successful candidates will be qualified with BSc and MSc degrees in geology, hydrogeology, biology, environmental science or other related field (or equiv.)
Must have relevant contaminated land experience gained through practical application (Phase 1 desk study through Phase 3 remediation options appraisal and site supervision).
Experience of preparating commercial offers, conceptual models, implementation of Part 2A and other associated contaminated land guidance is essential
Experience specifying and supervising sustainable process-based remediation solutions would be an advantage
