Reporting to the Building Services Director, you will bring an understanding of the Energy sector to the Building Services team for our client.
As a Chartered Engineer you will be conversant with low carbon and sustainable technologies during the design process.
Skills:
The relevant software skills are required which would include some or all of the following:
IES (should have at least good knowledge of IES 3D modelling environment)
Hevacomp
PVSyst
Homer
TAS
Envest II
T*SOL
CARB FM
RETScreen
Qualifications:
A degree qualified engineer with either a Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical degree Chartered within a recognised institute

Assessment of alternative and sustainable energy systems and projects
Energy and carbon assessments/audits of buildings
Computational Fluid Dynamics and advanced energy simulation analysis of buildings
Experience and familiarity with EcoHomes, BREEAM and bespoke assessments
Buildings appraisals with regard to the European Energy Performance Building Directive (EPBD)
Chartered Architect's advisor in the fields of Environmental, Energy and Low Carbon buildings |
