VEHICLE PROJECT ENGINEER ADVANCED TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS BRISTOL
A Vehicle Project Engineer is now required to plan, undertake and / or supervise projects relating to this company’s specialised type of vehicle. In this role you will support test and development activities; undertake problem diagnosis and problem solving of issues relating to performance and reliability of the vehicle and assist the Vehicle Engineering team by undertaking delegated tasks in meeting the requests of other departments within the company.
Your responsibilities will include undertaking practical planning and problem resolution tasks and investigating problems to determine fundamental causes in a logical and practical manner. You will work with minimal direction or supervision to deliver small and medium scale project tasks of a diverse nature. You will communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers to resolve technical and commercial issues as well as monitor medium scale out-sourced project work. Furthermore you will assess relative importance of information and activities to prioritise actions and allocation of resources.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in engineering. You will need to work well as part of a team, be well organized and pay attention to detail, and have good analysis, organisational and communication skills. Experience of project and task management in a small / medium sized dynamic company environment is necessary for this role.
