This is a fantastic opportunity for a process engineer with a strong interest in safety to get the training they need to become a process safety engineer for a small site which manufactures speciality chemicals including flame retardants and water management chemicals.
Due to the raw materials involved, this site is classified as a Top Tier Comah and operates under very strict permits and regulations. As a Process Safety Engineer, you will provide process safety support to the Bristol site and possibly to other selected European sites by establishing, maintaining and monitoring Process Safety Systems and support and making the improvements necessary.
You will also be expected to carry out general process engineering tasks.
Qualified to degree level in chemical engineering, you will have experience of process engineering and knowledge of HAZOPs and PHAs. You will also be aware of Criticality and ATEX.
