We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading provider of high integrity handling systems to the defence, aerospace and nuclear industries.
The Manufacturing Engineer will need to have extensive manufacturing knowledge and will preferably be time served with knowledge of machining (turning, milling, boring), fabrication, assembly and testing
The position would ideally suit a Manufacturing Engineer with good experience in medium to heavy, high integrity components
The role will involve the preparation of processes detailing method of manufacture/assembly for medium to heavy high integrity components and the preparation of shop documentation.
Candidates should have the ability to prepare material cutting lists and raise requisitions for the purchase of bought out items and materials as well as being able to iInterface with the Production shops and suppliers to assist the estimating and manufacturing procedures.
