What is the Role?
We are seeking a design engineer to work in our Highways and Transportation sector at our clients’ office in Bristol. You shall be reporting to a Team Leader, you will be responsible for all aspects of Highway Design, bills of quantities and specification in compliance with current standards.
You will be liasing with other designers to co-ordinate different elements of the scheme, take ownership of designs and resolve design problems in conjunction with the Team Leader.

Who are the likely candidates?
The Candidate should have good previous UK experience in Highways Design Engineering, with HNC / HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
The workload will be varied, covering all aspects of highway design. Proven experience and understanding of engineering design principals with an ability to use AutoCAD. Technical capabilities in at least one of the following areas: alignment, pavements, drainage, statutory processes, contract documentation and construction principals, MX/Moss.
