Electronics Technician: Yeovil area Contract role for 12 months - up to £14.50 hr
Currently recruiting for an experienced Electronics Technician within a defence environment - you will need to be able to obtain a security clearance prior to start.
Ideally you will have the following experience:
* recent experience of maintaining RADAR Electronic Systems and Communication equipment using modern testing equipment
* Avionics Systems maintenance
* Electronic Warfare systems maintenance
* Cabling and looming of eletrical power and distribution systems
You will need at least a BTEC Level 3/ ONC/ HNC level qualification in electronics
Your duties will be carrying out overhauls and mods, incl unit maintenance on various electronics systems. In particular surveys, strip, rebuild and post overhaul functional testing.
