We are looking for a System Analysis Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of System Analysis for specialist mechanical handling systems in the defence, energy, aerospace and commercial business areas. This will necessitate an experience in mechanisms, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics and electronics
The System Analysis Engineer will need to have had experience conducting system analysis in a mix of the mechanisms, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics and electronics skill groups and defence, energy, aerospace and commercial business areas and of working with their related International, European and UK legislation and standards. The ability to work with limited expertise support and supervision would be of benefit.
A sound awareness of the application of the commercial aspects of applying system analysis to projects is essential as is good communication and presentation skills and the capability of relating knowledgeably, system analysis expertise to a range of skill sets and levels The System Analysis Engineer would be required to us software applications such as MS Office, Isograph Fault Tree +, Omega PS, Editor, AvSim, etc.
Reporting to the Principal System Analysis Engineer under Engineering Manager, day to day responsibilities would include:-
• Compliance with company procedures and processes • Meeting project budgets and programmes • Providing system analysis support to marketing and project teams • Contributing to the continuing development, improvement and integration of the system analysis processes • Working to agreed specifications and through project instructions or other communication • Championing the system analysis to improve the engineering design process understanding • Educating and training engineers in the areas of expertise.
