EMC TRIALS OFFICER / EVALUATOR - WILTS - £20K-£35K + BENEFITS

- Critical position covering management & execution of assessments & trials activities, producing appropriate recommendations to customers
- This varied role includes planning, conduct, analysis & evaluation of ground trials
* We are keen to hear from ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS able to understand the principles of aircraft electrical power generation, distribution systems & with familiarity with existing/new electrical power system technologies
* Must also be familiar with EMC testing techniques, methodologies, practices & procedures including: BCI, LLS, BCM, HME/TME HIRF & HIRTA
* Knowledge of defence & military standards such as Def Stan 00-970, 59-41 & MilStan461 highly desirable
* Able to interpret Electrical Load Analysis & calculate electrical power demands
* Ideally familiar with whole system EMC test methodology & procedures, preferably obtained within the armed services, MoD civil service or UK defence industry
* Good understanding of airframe wiring / circuit protection requirements desirable
* Understanding of MoD practices/procedures for ensuring airworthiness highly advantageous
* Appropriate/relevant exp obtained within civil aircraft or defence industry sectors may be acceptable in lieu |
