** Train Maintenance Engineer - Bristol - National Transportation Company ** ** £32k per annum **
Role Description My client is one of the largest surface transportation companies in the UK, generating a revenue of over £3billion per annum. Due to a recently awarded 10 year franchise with the western rail network, experienced maintenance engineers are needed to join the business to conduct essential refurbishment to the entire existing fleet.
Key Accountabilities As a maintenance engineer, key roles will include elements of mechanical work on top of the electrical duties involved with the complete maintenance of all train's systems. (Inclusive of Pantographs, bogies, CCTV, doors, A/C, brakes, traction etc.)
Required Experience Successful applicants MUST be NVQ level 3 or apprentice trained. Electrical skills are essential; candidates must know how to read schematic diagrams, and have worked on 415V systems in the past. Candidates do not necessarily have to be from a rail background.
Package The role will consist of Night shifts, working 4nights on, 4nights off, paying a competitive salary of £32300. 28 Days holiday as standard, with free travel on the client's service and discounts on all train operating companies.
