Job Description
Due to an increasing workload, we are keen to recruit enthusiastic senior modeler with Info Works and Drainage Area Planning experience to work in our Exeter office. The role will primarily involve the construction and verification of hydraulic models. Our team in Exeter is busy on a wide variety of water and wastewater projects, and there will be an opportunity to become actively involved in supporting this design work. We have an existing workload of sewerage modeling projects, and this is an excellent opportunity to develop our local capability and to develop work with existing and new clients.
The existing Water & Environment sewer modeling team is based in offices throughout the country, and works together on a wide range of interesting projects in the UK and overseas. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to play a vital role in the delivery of projects, and to develop the locally based specialist team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Info Works and MapInfo and be able to supervise the work of others. Knowledge of MS Access, Map Basic or VBA would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the technical management of modeling studies together with the work and development of junior staff. There will be a need to meet various clients and, as such, candidates should therefore possess good presentation and communication skills.
