The successful candidate will undergo the role of a production engineer. will be expected to
-analyse the current process and introduce lean manufacturing techniques.
-liaise with quality and supply to improve product quality
-work with design to improve manufacturability of product (DFM)
-develop and maintain safe working procedures
-liaising with a team to reduce manufacturing and labour costs
- develop production process for new products
-manage new product introduction (NPI)
-Preparation of specifications for capital equipment
- Preparation of cost justification
-Ensure all production processes and equipment are health and safety complient
-Accurate maintenance of Efacs bom and routing files
