Position
The role of the Mechanical Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Handling Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer will involve the design and specification of bespoke mechanical handling equipment. The Mechanical Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Handling Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer will also developing designs from concept to equipment commissioning to meet customer requirements, statutes, codesand directives.
Key Skills
The successful Mechanical Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Handling Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer will have experience of working in a Nuclear environment with exposure of working in medium/heavy engineering. A background in the design of mechanical handling equipment and mechanisms would also be required. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic or electromechanical systems would also be an advantage, as would an ability to express design solutions using 3D CAD systems.
