Experienced intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer is required to work for one of the countries leading building services consultancies, from the BRISTOL OFFICE, within a high performing and dedicated team of professional engineers. You will be an integral part of the M&E Team and you will have an excellent opportunity to progress through the ranks.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be assisting senior engineers on the design of mechanical services, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning. The main duties involved will be;
•Heat loss calculations
•Writing specifications
•Pipe sizing
•Duct and fan sizing
•Production of proposed drawings
•Site surveys
•Production of tender packages
To be considered for this role you will need to be of degree or equivalent standard, preferably with graduate membership of CIBSE or ImechE.
You must be fully conversant with all relevant IT packages, HEAVACOMP and AUTO CAD and have experience gained within the building services environment
You must be eager to progress within the company and wanting to work towards a chartered status, as well as being self motivated and a team player. In reward for your skills and experience you will be rewarded with excellent rates of pay, £32,500 - £40,000 and benefits structure.
