Working in association with personnel at all levels within the company and also with customers and suppliers. The main purpose and scope of the position, is to design and document new products, equipment and processes, to manage such projects and to maintain and support existing products, equipment and processes for the company.
Below is a brief list of main duties and responsibilities for the role 1) To design new products for the Company. 2) To design new equipment and processes for the Company. 3) To produce catalogues, data sheets and publicity materials for our Clients products. 4) To produce CAD data, images and video to support Our Clients products. 5) To produce manuals and instructions for Our Clients products. 6) To perform calculations, analyses and create reports as part of the project work, and to file these with project documentation. 7) To generate ideas and identify opportunities for new products or services for the Company. 8) To make changes to existing products, which may be additions or modifications. The role of the
Design Engineer is a very broad one and the above list is therefore not exclusive, and the duties may extend beyond those detailed above.
