We are currently looking to recruit a Work Package Team Leader to work at the Submarine Support Management Group (SSMG) in Abbeywood, to be responsible for the management and provision of front line SSMG support to the SubIPT.

The main purpose of this role is to manage in-service work packages through the Rolling DAR database. The post is based in MoD Abbeywood, managing the work package teams' collation of Design Authority deliverables. The post holder will act as the SubIPT principle point of contact for all in-service submarine work package issues and direct the work package team as required.
The ideal candidate will be education to ONC/OND level or equivalent, with suitable submarine support experience.

The post holder will need to have a good understanding of submarine systems/layout and a familiarity with the waterfront support environment. Practical experience of RDAR is desirable and the post holder will be expected to become conversant with UMMS and CWE. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with the ability to liaise with internal and external customers at all levels.
