Senior Hydraulics Engineer – Defence Industry - design, performance analysis setting to work and testing of Hydraulic control systems - based Bristol – salary £30 – 50K
We are looking for a Principal or Senior Hydraulics Engineer with experience of Hydraulics at both System and Component level to work for one of Europe’s leading engineering, design and project management companies specialising in the provision of high integrity electro-mechanical systems for the defence, nuclear and aerospace industries
The Senior/Principal Hydraulics Engineer would need to be able to understand the design, performance analysis setting to work and testing of Hydraulic control systems
An understanding of component design would be advantageous as the Principal or Senior Hydraulics Engineer would be expected to lead the company’s Hydraulic team across a number of Defence Projects.
The Senior/Principal Hydraulics Engineer would be expected to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team including other professional engineers and would need to check the work of junior technical staff assigned to a common project. An innovative and enquiring approach to problem solving and an enthusiastic attitude is essential in this role
