The South-West branch of this nationwide technical documentation and engineering support are looking for a competent and dedicated Safety Engineer to accommodate their continued expansion.
Salary & Location:25-40k + Pension + OT + Expenses + Flexi-time
South West, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Oxford, Stroud, Dursley
The Role: Within the remit of this role you will be working on multiple projects to perform hazard analysis, risk analysis and write safety case reports. You will be tasked with calculating acceptable risk tolerances and test your findings through the creation of test cases. Your risk analysis assessments will use both qualitative and quantitative techniques including FMECA and Fault Tree Analysis. Although this role is primarily office-based you will liaise with engineers and visit clients, with the occasional opportunity for overseas travel.

" Engineering background
" Experience in the defence/ naval/ marine industries or similar
" HNC minimum
Ideals:
" Safety engineering experience
" Knowledge of defence industry safety standards
