Our client is a leading technology concern based in the Salisbury area involved in the trials, modification and testing of various military platforms. They have a new position for a Degree qualified (or equivalent) Proposal Manager, Bids and Proposals to report to the current Bid Team Manager.
Specific responsibilities for the Proposal Manager, Bids and Proposals will include –
The management of the bid process through to handover to delivery for small and medium sized opportunities
Development and maintenance of a bid and estimating knowledge database
Support to Bid Managers in large bids
Develop and maintain departmental recording and reporting mechanisms
The successful Proposal Manager, Bids and Proposals will have –
Previous experience of the bid process in a lead or support role
Be organised and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Team player with experience of working in multi discipline teams
Experience in an aircraft or military engineering environment preferred
