A Planning Engineer is required to join a Planning team focused on a major defence Project. You will need to have a variety of Planning skills from creating, maintaining and updating schedules, to progress reporting, earned value analysis, variance analysis, and cost and resource loading. You will have a good technical understanding of defence and engineering projects within the defence industry. You will be able to use Ms Project and Ms Excel. You will be competent working on detailed and complex schedules. The organisation welcomes candidates from other sectors, such as the Rail and Power sectors.
You will receive a daily rate of between £280 and £320 depending on your knowledge and ability. Your contract will be a 6 month contract and you will be located in the South West of England office.
