Project Manager – Systems Engineering/Defence Industry/Risk and Issues/ Stakeholder Management/MoD Procurement Process/Engineering Design Processes*All Candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to SC level.My Bristol based defence client currently seeks a Project Manager to support the business on a range of projects and to assist the company and its clients organise and deliver complex programmes of technical engineering work. You will be working on large £multi-billion programmes and your core activities will include; definition and co-ordination of programmes of technical work, employment of recognised project management best practices to ensure the successful delivery of projects, work packages and contracts with sub contracting organisations, provide project management consultancy to internal and external customers and assist the company in building up their profile and reputation within the Project/Programme field.You will come from an engineering background possessing a strong understanding of engineering design processes and systems engineering. On top of this you will have a proven background within project management, proving strong in stakeholder management, design process, schedule, cost and risk management, options analysis and assessment and have a sound understanding of Project management principles.
