Cost Engineer – Systems Engineering/Defence Industry/Cost Models/Time Tradeoffs/Excel/Life Costs/Programme Affordability/Software Development/Visual Basic *All Candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to SC level.My Bristol based defence client currently seeks an engineer to work within their Cost Team. The role will have you involved in the development of an existing cost model and usage of the model to determine through life costs, to investigate performance, cost, time tradeoffs and to assess the overall programme affordability. You will liaise quite significantly across all systems engineering teams, activities and other programmes. You will be educated to degree level within an engineering, mathematical, computing or physical science discipline and have previous systems engineering experience and ideally defence industry experience. You will be experienced in Modelling and have excellent knowledge of Excel.
