A joint venture between a large contractor and a large Consultancy operates the EMAC (Enhanced Managing Agent Contractor) contract in Highways Agency contracts across the Southern Region of the Country. The company draws on the extensive experience, support and proven track record of its two joint venture partners and provides a full range of services to the Highways Agency.
Reporting to the Contract Manager the main purpose of the Supervisor's role is to manage and oversee the operational aspects of the Street Lighting section, ensuring jobs are completed on programme, within budget and to the requires safety and quality standards with resources being monitored, controlled and optimized accordingly. Key responsibilities will include: Producing monthly reports on the sections performance. Carrying out appraisals for all staff employed within the operational team. Interfacing with the other staff within Operations to the maximum benefit to the business. Suitable candidates will have proven experience within a similar supervisory role, ideally within Street Lighting. Candidates should be educated to a ONC level or equivalent and would have ideally served an electrical apprenticeship. You will be financially and contractually aware and have an understanding of relevant Health and Safety and Environment legislation.
