SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR required in Devon...
The Company
This is one of the fastest growing contractors in the Devon area is looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to come & board and head up a variety of projects in the Devon area. Their current portfolio of work includes projects up to a value of £25m- typically around the £7m mark- include Education, Industrial, Commercial & occasionally Residential projects meaning there is constantly a variety of work.
This company prides itself on having a particularly low staff turnover, which is not surprising given the excellent social culture they encourage combined with a professional & focussed working atmosphere.
The Role
They are looking for an individual who has the Commercial acumen combined with an ambition to move into a Senior Management role at some point in the future- something they have earmarked the successful candidate to aim for. Initially you will have the optuion to eitther act as Lead Surveyor on a £8m Commercial New Build, or No.2 on a £25m Education scheme in Newport.
Also there is a requirement for the successful applicant to get involved with Business Development & building strong client relationships for the future.
The package being offered includes Share Save Scheme, Profit Sharing & Performance Bonuses as there is a focus on rewarding hard work & delivery.

The Individual
• Coming from a Main Contracting or PQS background you will have experience of controlling projects up to a value of at least £5m.
• Ideally you will have a relevant qualification but the company is happy to consider any individual who has the relevant background & right attitude.
• A pre-requisite is someone with ambition who wants to drive their career forward as well as the business as a whole. In return for achieving this you will be inline for progressing up within the company & achieving a market leading salary & package.
