Exciting new job opportunity for a Construction experienced Sales person to join a successful, expanding Dorset Building company.
We are a medium sized business based approximately 5 miles north of Bournemouth. Involved in the design and manufacture of innovative, sought after products for the Self Build market.
Our product is green and energy efficient and as such are market is booming and bucking the trend of some larger Construction companies. Working within this key environmentally friendly sector we provide Panels, Floor and Roofing systems which are used for private and commercial buildings including hotels, leisure facilities, community centres and schools.
Sales Position
We are looking to recruit a person who can help improve our conversion rates of estimates into sales.
The position is 75% office based, conducting follow up calls and giving presentations to clients.
Approx 20% of the time will be spent conducting client visits around the factory and to local sites.
Once or twice a month there may be a need to travel outside Dorset and Hampshire to see potential customers to explain the product and secure a sale.
Essential skills and experience
We require a candidate with a proven track record of sales success in the Design or Construction sector - ideally from a Construction product sales or House building sales background.
Able to demonstrate confidence with clients and ability to show them around the factory and sites
Excellent time management, timekeeping and letter writing skills
Driver with own car
Presentation skills including powerpoint
Telephone sales experience
Personal skills
Likeable, professional and intelligent person
Tenacious sales person who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and customer focus.
Excellent communication skills on the phone and face to face
