The Company
My client enjoys a group turnover of in excess of £900 million, with the South West region currently enjoying £50 million of this turnover. They provide both New Build, Refurbishment, Fit Out and Special Works Services. They will work on Projects ranging from £1 million - £50 million and cover the whole of the South West area focussing mainly on the larger projects being undertaken in the market.
With a reputation for quality & delivery this contractor can offer an excellent role to the successful candidate & fantastic progression opportunities- with a view to move the individual into an MQS role in the near future.
The Position
They are looking to recruit a Surveyor to work on a variety of projects up to the value of £50m across the South West. They are keen to find an individual capable of running a £35m Mixed Used Development which they have recently won. The successful copmpletion of this project combined with a high level of client satisfaction means the contractor will offer the indiviudal the opportunity to progress into an MQS role.
You will need to have experience with Single, 2 stage and lump sump tenders and have some Design and Build experience. If you have worked as a Number one on projects up to £10 million or as Number 2 on projects circa £20 million then you are likely to have the capability of undertaking this project .
You will be degree qualified or equivalent and will be a forward thinking individual who is keen on progressing their career.

The Individual
Reporting to the Regional Director you must:
• Be capable of running multi million pound projects from inception to completion
• Be ambitious and want to be instrumental in driving the company forward
• You will need to work well within a team environment & keen to run a team themselves
• Preferably degree qualified or extensive commercial experience
