Project Surveyor required to be part of one of the regions leading construction companies.
The Company
Over the last thirty years our client has aimed to be the leading provider of quality construction services to their target markets such as Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, Education, Student Accommodation and Social Housing.
They have six offices across the South of England and South Wales and due to a rapid influx of work, the need has arisen to appoint a Quantity Surveyor in their South West Region.
The South West Region has enjoyed healthy growth over the last three years. Their average project value is now consistently at over £10 million.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the project with an assistant reporting into you. You will in turn report directly to the Commercial Manager.
This contractor has recently been successful in winning two large projects in Devon and Cornwall. You would be responsible for an £8 million Teaching Facility and Office development in Cornwall due to start in later in the year.
Criteria
Ideally, you will be based within an hours commute of Exeter, and will be degree qualified, however this is not essential.
Applicants should already be in a commercial role and would ideally have experience of running work over £5 million.
