Project Manager.
We are recruiting for a large independent consultancy that offers real building solutions through project management, building surveying, cultural heritage, interior design and architecture.
They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Bristol. The role will suit you perfectly if you are Chartered and looking to expand your professional knowledge and scope of Project. The recruiting company has worked on prestigious projects all across the South of England (portfolio of projects available upon request) and offer a unique environment of achievement and critical success.
The role is more than the sum of its parts however these are;
Project Management role from inception to completion including the following Projects:
£7m Distribution warehouse
£10m shopping centre redevelopment
Various office refurbishments/extensions PM roles from £2M to £10M
Effective Project monitoring
Act as Employer’s Agent; (potentially for £8m new build office development )
Working as Project Manager on:
Office fit-outs
New build Projects
Complex developments
Take responsibility for mentoring/guidance of staff interested in Project Consultancy
Effective understanding of commercial building surveying
Able to act as Employer’s Agent/Project Manager for commercial new build and refurbishment projects over £2M and development monitoring experience for new developments over £10M
Able to meet fee targets and generate new business
Excellent time management skills
Effective communicator both verbally and written
Computer literate, including good knowledge of PM tools and processes
Proactive approach to work
Able to lead a team, deliver projects with autonomy and engender confidence in clients.
Experience of all aspects of Employers Agent Role
Demonstratable experience of all phases of a projects from inception to completion
Must be a good team player but able to work independently
Confident communicator verbally and in writing
Ability to network at business development events
Party wall and dilapidations experience would be an advantage
