ESTIMATOR required in Devon to establish Estimating team...
The Role
Working on a variety of projects varying in value between £1m and £15m, you will have the opportunity to get involved in flagship schemes within the South West area up to the value of £35m. You will be part of a Commercial Team of 25, and this growing contractor can provide excellent progression opportunities and the chance to diversify into other areas of construction. With the growth they are experiencing at this time they are planning to set up an Estimating department, and the successful applicant will be an integral part of developing this team.
Also there is a requirement for the successful applicant to get involved with Business Development & building strong client relationships for the future- as this is the backbone of how this contractor operates.

The Individual
You should have -
• Experience of working for a main contractor
• Experience of managing tender teams for bids to £10m
• All forms of estimating particularly Design and Build and including bills of quantities, negotiated contracts and cost planning
• Good customer liaison and organisational skills
• Ambition to want to progress & lead a team
