Requirements
The successful candidate would need to demonstrate:
•The ability to work as part of a close knit team on a wide range of contracts from approx £50k to £2.0m in value.
•Be a self motivated individual with the ability to work under tight time constraints.
•It is essential that competence is demonstrated in taking off quantities, broadly in line with standard method of measurement.
Responsibilities
Responsible for producing Tenders mainly from specifications and drawings but also from Bill of Quantities. Also some design and build experience would be an advantage in addition to experience in negotiated and two stage bids.
The Individual
Ideally the successful candidate would have:
•Previous experience in a similar role
•Be computer literature with experience of using computerised estimating systems
•Have a positive attitude and approach
•Good communication and people skills
•Demonstrate high standards of integrity
•Be able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
