Our client, a regional contractor, is looking for a site agent / manager to work within the rail sector of the civils industry. They have recently required a framework agreement over the next few years in the south west corridor and the Midlands. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role and have supervised other site staff. This contractor is looking to expand on this their new sector that have been growing steadily for the past couple years. Recent experience alongside a PTS ticket is essential to this appointment.
Skills/Tasks to be undertaken are:
Manage contracts £5m in project value
Able to read drawings and working to Specifications
Take off and schedule materials
Complete company returns i.e.; time sheets, plant sheets etc
Control of labour
Undertake Risk Assessments and prepare Method Statements
Prepare Works Programme
Liase with the Client’s representative
Able to work to a Quality Management System
Knowledge of various Forms of Contract
Experience Necessary:
On track rail experience
civils rail experience
Bridge repairs and instillation
Footbridge improvements
Drainage
Earthworks
Infrastructure
Training Required:
PTS
CSCS Card
CITB 5 day. Construction Site Safety
Confined Spaces
