Our client's Devon office is looking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to deliver and manage their infrastructure projects.
You will lead medium sized single and multidiscipline projects with a low level of supervision, assist in the preparation and pricing of proposals and bids, manage a team of graduate / intermediate engineers including progressing their training towards Chartership and provide technological input and supervise the technical input by others within the civil infrastructure discipline.
You will be a Chartered Civil Engineer with substantial relevant experience, will have knowledge and experience of all stages of the project cycle and you will need to be able to demonstrate skills in ONE or more of the following:
• Design of private and adoptable sewers
• Design of private and adoptable highways
• Civil engineering infrastructure for airports, airfields and military establishments
• Maritime civil engineering in relation to ports and harbours, marine terminals, reclamation and associated works
• Negotiating section 38 and 106 agreements.
Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills are required.
A competitive salary will be offered, probably in the range of £30 - 40,000 p.a., together with a comprehensive benefits package.
