About the Role: To take responsibility for the development of the civil/structural engineering capability within our clients Power team in Bristol. The role is very hands on requiring input across all aspects from project management through to detailed design of thermal power and industrial projects both in the UK and internationally. The position will report to the Head of Power and will be based in their Bristol office. You will be expected to: -Undertake the role of civil/structural engineer in the Owners Engineer team for thermal power projects ranging from 50MW to over a 1000MW. -Manage or participate in feasibility and other studies for new or refurbished thermal power plant. -Design and supervise the civil/structural requirements for a range of power projects and associated works ranging from services infrastructure through to sea water intakes etc. -Design and supervise a range of small industrial projects in the UK, including preparation of tender documents, administration of the contracts and project management.
