We are looking for a high calibre chemist/chemical engineer to provide technical support to ensure the safe, reliable operation of our power stations. A number of positions are available working on water chemistry and issues. You will investigate, analyse and resolve interesting problems at our power stations. This will include specifying plant modifications where necessary, and producing strategies for lifetime management.
Ideally you will have some experience of plant or process chemistry, and preferably will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in either Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Chartered status (or working towards) would be an advantage. In return we will offer training and ongoing development so you can help us solve technically demanding and interesting issues, allowing us to extend the operating lives of our nuclear power stations.
